Foundations (Ages 3-4)

A 30 minute class that introduces students to ballet through the use of fun games and creative stories and songs. For many students this is their first experience in a classroom setting, therefore instructors stress the importance of establishing a strong teacher/student bond. This is best accomplished in the absence of the parent, in a nurturing environment where students can feel safe and learn to trust their instructors. All dance rooms are equipped with viewing windows to allow parents to observe class in an unobtrusive way, with or without their child's knowledge.

Creative Movements 1 (Ages 4-5)

A 45 minute combo class that combines ballet, and beginners tap. This class builds on previous movement taught in Foundations. Students are taught mental and physical awareness, encouraged to use their imagination, taught to distinguish left from right, and combine song and dance to demonstrate creative movement.

Creative Movements 2 (Ages 5-6)

A 45 minute combo class building upon knowledge gained in Foundations and Creative Movement 1. Introductory level ballet and tap are continued at this level. There is a very distinct increase and improvement in attentiveness, learning ability, memorization of steps, rhythm and overall motor skills in Creative Movement 2. Students possess the ability to execute steps solo, recognize terminology and perform with a certain degree of showmanship.

Wee Hop (Ages 4-6)

This 30 minute class is an introduction to hip hop technique, rhythm exercises and body awareness through creative exercises and combinations. Wee hop introduces your young ones to the basics of hip hop all while having a good time. It focuses on the inclusive "energy" of hip hop with age appropriate steps and music. This fun, upbeat class will keep them moving!
